Keep It Green’s Big Lassen fertilizer will elevate everything you grow to new heights with superior CDFA approved organic ingredients. Big Lassen enhances the soil food web and compliments any style of organic gardening with increased nitrogen and phosphorus, volcanic ash and glacial rock dust that will totally rock your garden or greenhouse.

About:
If you’re in search of the perfect fertilizer for your lawns, orchards, or large-scale commercial gardens, then look no further. We developed the Big Lassen 7-7-2 specifically for our customers who need a robust, reliable product to keep their plants vibrant and healthy as they develop from sprout to flower. At Kinney, we believe that a garden grows its best when well-supported with organic macro- and micronutrients as well as the bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to break them down into forms the plants can easily absorb. Big Lassen incorporates these ingredients from—you guessed it—both terra firma and the oceanside, bringing the best of the earth’s natural support system to your garden. It’s most effective in supporting a plant’s development during periods of transitional growth and encouraging the development of a healthy fruit and flower set. Whether you’re an organic or synthetic gardener or somewhere in between, Big Lassen 7-7-2 complements a compost tea program and offers sustainable nutrition to your larger gardens and plots. Bonus: You’ll love how easy it is to apply: the granulated formula makes for an easy topdress!

Special Features
Land & Sea 7-7-2 contains a rare and unique ingredient you won’t find in most fertilizers: humid acid!

All types of gardening, particularly large scale hemp fields, rose gardens, or other commercial plantings. The right choice for existing plants, lawns and groundcovers as well as high-intensity container gardens, flowers, vegetables, and new plants.

Ideal Consumer:

Growing Location:
Good for greenhouse or outdoor growing locations.

How to Use:
Apply by using one of the below methods to pre-moistened soil and water thoroughly following application. Big Lassen is most effective when applied approximately 5 weeks after planting.
Water thoroughly after every application.
Use in conjunction with a compost tea program. See the application below for on-going use directions.

New Plantings:
1 Cup (236 ml) per 1 cubic foot of bagged soil to make any soil super
1 Cup (236 ml) for every 10 square feet of surface area
5-10 lbs (2.3 kg-4.6 kg) per cubic yard of bulk garden soil
1-2 Tbs (15 ml-30 ml) directly in the root zone when transplanting

Vegetables & Flowers:
1 Cup (236 ml) for every 10 square feet of surface area
¼ Cup or 4 Tbs (59l) per individual plant
Apply Every Two Weeks

High Intensity Container Gardening:
1 Cup (236 ml) = 10 gallon gardening container
2 Cups (472 ml) = 50 gallon gardening container
4 Cups (944 ml) = 100 gallon gardening container

Transplants:

1-2 Tbs (15ml-30ml) per transplant hole, mix in, water well

Apply up to 1 cup of KIGO fertilizers to a 4’x4’ surface area, up to once a week. Apply to damp soil and water in thoroughly following application, preferably with compost tea.
●      Suggested application for heavy feeding plants in containers: Apply to damp soil and water in thoroughly following application, preferably with compost tea.
●      For less aggressive plants, or nutrient-sensitive strains, reduce the rate by 25%-50%.

Application:
Apply Bi-weekly after week 5. Discontinue second week of flowering. Finish with Kinney’s Bloom Instigator, then discontinue any fertilizer 2 to 3 weeks before harvest.

The suggestion to change fertilizer blends after week 5 is primarily for cannabis and hemp plants. This provides additional phosphorus for plants going into the bloom phase, as well as additional nitrogen for more plant growth and stretch during bloom.

Existing Plants, Lawn, & Covers
Existing: For every inch of trunk diameter, measured 4”-6” above the soil line. Side dress in the plant’s natural dripline, which is the widest circumference of a tree or plant’s branches. Apply every 3 months during the growing season.

Lawns & Covers: 5-10 lbs (2.3 kg-4.6 kg) per 100 sq ft. apply 3-4 times per season
New Lawns: 7 lbs (3.2 kg) per 100 sq ft apply before seed or sod installation.
