One of the market’s most versatile organic fertilizers, a big high-five for all plants in all stages.
Keep It Green’s NorCal High-five is the NorCal industry standard in organic, CDFA approved fertilizers. An amazing stand-alone fertilizer for all plants in all stages, any garden or greenhouse. This bag will super-charge your organic gardening and soil food web to a new level with a high-octane blend of sustainable, local ingredients like bio char, humic acid, mycorrhizal fungi and beneficial bacteria.

About:
At Kinney, we are passionate about comprehensive, long-term care for the plants and soil we garden. To us, it means enriching the life of current plants as well as respecting and maintaining the soil for future generations of growth. NorCal Hi-Five 5-5-5 is designed for those who share these thoughts and want to begin this cycle of care correctly. As its name implies, it can be used year-round, but it’s most effective as a pre-plant soil inoculant to help new and transplanted plants off to a healthy start. Specially designed to be mixed with soil before planting, the powdered formula easily supports the soil food web. NorCal Hi-Five also encourages a healthy root environment (rhizosphere) to ensure a long and healthy plant life. Sustainable ingredients like alfalfa meal encourage decomposition, while the beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi break down nutrients in a slow-release program to ensure nutrition all season long.

Special Features:
The slow-release feature ensures a long-lasting (and cost-saving!) effect to keep nutrients in the soil for the lifespan of the growing season and allow plants to absorb them as needed.

Good for:
This fertilizer is good for almost any kind of plant, but it is especially effective in new growth vegetables, flowers, and plants needing stronger root development.

Ideal Consumer:
NorCal Hi-Five 5-5-5 is great for new gardeners testing out their green thumbs or for established gardeners adding new plants to their spaces—especially high-intensity gardens! If you’re working in smaller spaces and experimenting with raised beds, vertical gardening, intercropping, and succession planting (preparing what you’ll plant next in a space as the seasons change), then NorCal Hi-Five 5-5-5 will help you increase your yield, extend your seasons (all year round, if you like!) and plant a greater variety of plants, fruits, and vegetables.

Growing Location:
Suitable for high-intensity container gardens located indoors, in greenhouses, or outdoors

How to Use:
For maximum results, NorCal Hi-Five is intended to be used in conjunction with other fertilizer materials, specifically a compost tea blend. It can be mixed with pre-bagged soils to further enrich the growing environment. Be sure to water the soil thoroughly after every application. Apply by using one of the below methods to pre-moistened soil and water thoroughly following application.
